Prevent The HIV AIDSAIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) is a disease caused by a virus called HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus is). HIV attacks your immune system. When people have AIDS, their body is not able to fight disease. Easy to begin and maintain an infection because their bodies are immune suppressed, have not cured the infection and die from serious diseases like cancer, etc.

HIV can be transmitted to the person through body fluids from people just like blood, semen and vaginal secretions.

The most common ways in which HIV is passed to a person, as follows:

1. By unprotected vaginal sex, oral or anal with an infected person.

2. Through the use of needles and syringes used by an infected person to inject drugs.

3. Through the sharing of razor blades from an infected person.

4. Mothers can transmit the disease to her child if she is infected with HIV during pregnancy.

HIV can not live very long outside the body, we can not do it through casual contact. Can not be the virus from touching, shaking hands, hugs and swim in the pool, or a blood donation. You can not get from the bite of mosquitoes and other insects. Oral sex is safer than vaginal or anal sex, until there is no absorption of semen or vaginal secretions.

The best way to protect yourself from getting that are infected with HIV:

1. Practice “safer” sex if you have sex. Safe sex with a condom properly means.

2. If you know the person is infected before you have sex with this person and also to avoid the sex more.

3. Do not share your razor blades and needles with anyone.

It ‘very difficult to determine if the subject is infected with HIV, because it takes many years before the infected person develops symptoms. Even a person who can not look sick to be infected with the virus, then you should still precautions to secure use of HIV.

Always practice safe sex is sex between two people who are not infected with HIV. You should get someone else’s blood, semen, urine or vaginal fluids in your anus, vagina or mouth.

The most unhappy of all infants born to HIV positive mothers. We are born with the disease without any fault on their part and do not survive for long. So please do mothers tested for AIDS before planning a pregnancy so that children are not victims of this deadly disease.
