Stamping out discrimination based on sex to prevent HIV / AIDSMolding of discrimination based on sex For the prevention of HIV / AIDS

Gender discrimination SAPS social consistency jeopardizing health and educational development. It is increasingly recognized as important factor is that women were significantly more at risk of AIDS and STI (sexually transmitted infections). Improving and intensifying poverty reduction strategies pragmatically, overall development programs should be en-gender. Otherwise the results of development could be in danger, if not epidemic.
Approximately 17.7 million women living with HIV / AIDS for the year 2006 throughout the world. Multiple vulnerabilities as social, cultural, economic and biological factors as interdependent vicious circle can be sky-high at any time prevalence among women of developing countries in Asia. So we have a clarion call to fight the spread of the epidemic by ensuring equality between women and men.
Gender discrimination promotes unequal access to resources and opportunities, sexual violence, the practice of unprotected sex, women and low representation of women and participation in social development. All results of these performance differences that characterize the personal relations between men and women, the development of not only women but also of a nation in great measure. In this context, the capital of capacity initiatives for women, awareness raising, training and guidance, exchange information, experiences and views and networking may play an important role in cases of HIV as a whole.
With significant and varied impact on public health, education, technology, economics and demographics, as well as for administrative, budgetary, macro-economy and society on a large scale, HIV / AIDS continues to be in Asia and the Pacific. Comprehensive HIV / AIDS prevention programs have been successful in some countries. However, several factors such as illiteracy, severe inequality between men and women, with no extra-marital sexual behavior, increasing use of intravenous drugs, isolation from generic health care and lack of care and care of the vast radius, for the spread of HIV / AIDS, after the populations most at risk in the general population. Consequently, the number of HIV infections among women is increasing day by day. This is why it is very appropriate and timely information on theimportance of the role of women, policymakers should be aware of gender necessarily.
About inter-sectoral area of gender equality and the establishment of contacts between the sexes, development and the fight against HIV / AIDS, vulnerable countries need technical support to address the epidemic. There are alternatives for the integration of gender in such important areas as good governance, poverty eradication, disaster management and recovery, promoting a sustainable environment, information and communication for development ( IDC) and the prevention of HIV / AIDS.
A detailed study entitledThe impact of women on the prevention of HIV / AIDS in Bangladesh”, with the bees (Bangladesh Extension Education Services) stressed that women are more vulnerable to HIV / AIDS aa cause of their behavior inherited conservative, belief in superstition and religious dogma. Beraubt Sie werden, als auch ihre Rechte minimal. Consequently, they are affected by discrimination based on sex strong. A recent survey by Rainbow Nari O Shishu Kallayan Foundation revealed that only 22% of young women (15-25 years) had heard of HIV / AIDS and do not know how to protect against AIDS / STI.
HIV / AIDS epidemic is mounting all over the world especially in developing countries is the greatest obstacle to human development. Young girls and women are very vulnerable because of their lack of power and resources to themselves from the practice of unprotected sex and ignorance as regards reproductive health. Through a lens of gender, multisectoral development strategies should address both the poor and pro-women supporting the integration of HIV / AIDS prevention activities into development planning. Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are to halve extreme poverty and hunger by 2015. Then, during the reduction of poverty, promotion of gender equality through a behavior-oriented gender awareness will help to reverse the spread of HIV / AIDS according to the desired success.
